Job Summary:

Adcock Brothers Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Title Assistant to support our title processing operations. The ideal candidate will assist in handling vehicle titles, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while working with dealerships, financial institutions, and government agencies. This role requires strong administrative skills, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process vehicle titles for purchases, sales, trade-ins, and fleet transactions.
  • Review and verify title documents for accuracy, ensuring compliance with state and DMV regulations.
  • Prepare and submit title applications, liens, and other necessary paperwork to state agencies.
  • Coordinate with DMVs, dealerships, lenders, and auction houses to resolve title-related issues.
  • Conduct title searches to verify ownership history, liens, and discrepancies.
  • Assist with duplicate title requests, title transfers, and lien releases.
  • Maintain electronic and physical records of all title transactions.
  • Ensure timely processing of titles to prevent delays in vehicle sales or financing.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers, lenders, and internal team members regarding title status.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in automotive title processing, dealership title work, or DMV-related roles is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of state DMV title and registration laws in Pennsylvania and/or Florida.
  • Ability to work efficiently with high volumes of title paperwork.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with dealerships, lenders, and customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google G-Suite and experience with title processing software is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in automotive title processing, dealership administration, or DMV operations is a plus.
